The purpose of Campaign For A New South is to promote the general welfare of all people through independent political organization dedicated to progressive ideals of freedom, justice and democracy.

Our Specific objectives are to effect solutions to social, economic and community problems by constructively promoting:

  1. political organization
  2. voter registration
  3. economic development
  4. cultural awareness
  5. leadership development
  6. youth development
  7. progressive legislation
  8. progressive political candidates
  9. to coalesce and assist organizations with similar objectives.
